11 days

Hello everyone.

Mikrobiologie. 'Nuf said. I am not sure if I already said so, but Laura and I decided the heck with it and just to retake the exam. I can tell you that this time around I am learning the material a lot more in depth and am surprised by my lack of knowledge in certain areas. I found out today what the difference is between Mycobacteria and Mycoplasmen so if you want to know just ask. Haha, I bet I'll get no takers on that. I think it is cool how neither has a true Murien and yet they are both still Gram Positive. Crazy world, oder? (Sorry, I decided to throw in some info anyway).

Fencing is done. It ended extremely well and I feel at peace with the whole thing. I got to say goodbye to Ralph (often referred to as Oesterreich) and Tomas (often referred to as Ungarn) so that was good. They are both amazingly cool people and fencers. I am so happy that I got to learn from them. They also told me that I have improved greatly since the beginning of the semester and I got several "Gut gemacht!"(s) so that was awesome. I love fencing. Or maybe just the people? Maybe both?

My days in Germany are numbered and I am starting to get the opposite of homesickness. What is that? I am not sure that I want to leave. I love it here, well, except for the classes. Those I could do without. 11 days and counting before I get on a plane and verlass this wonderful place.

Haha, I was looking at the Mood thing on here where I get to choose what I feel and there are a couple I am not sure anyone would ever use. "Horny" and "bouncy" being a couple of examples. Perhaps I am wrong though.

In two days I leave on the choir trip with my choir germies and yet I have no clue what the deal is. Eek! Must talk to Katie and figure it all out...

Well, I had better go edit my Hausarbeit. Stay cool wherever you are and to all of you AYFers, just remember that soon all of the Hausarbeiten will be vorbei and we can just enjoy our lives. Hooray!
